Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) forms part of the agreement between KeywordNode (“KeywordNode”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and users or organizations (“Customer”) using the KeywordNode platform where applicable data protection laws require such terms.
This DPA applies when KeywordNode processes personal data on behalf of customers in connection with the use of our platform, services, dashboards, analytics systems, APIs, and related infrastructure.
Roles Of The Parties
The Customer acts as the data controller for customer-submitted personal data processed through the platform. KeywordNode acts as the data processor and processes personal data only as necessary to provide and operate the service.
Nature Of Processing
Processing activities may include collection, organization, storage, analysis, retrieval, hosting, transmission, security monitoring, and deletion of data necessary for operation of the KeywordNode platform.
Categories of data may include account information, workspace settings, authentication data, project information, research inputs, usage analytics, and customer support communications.
Security Measures
KeywordNode implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer data against unauthorized access, accidental disclosure, misuse, destruction, or loss.
Security measures may include encrypted connections, access controls, authentication systems, infrastructure monitoring, platform isolation controls, and provider-level security protections.
Subprocessors
KeywordNode may engage trusted subprocessors for hosting, authentication, analytics, infrastructure operations, customer communication, monitoring, and payment processing services.
All subprocessors are engaged under contractual obligations that include confidentiality, security protections, and lawful data processing commitments appropriate to the services provided.
International Transfers
Customer data may be processed in regions where KeywordNode or its subprocessors operate infrastructure or support services. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards are implemented for lawful data transfer compliance.
Data Subject Requests
KeywordNode will provide commercially reasonable assistance for requests involving access, correction, export, deletion, or restriction of customer-related personal data where required under applicable data protection laws.
Data Retention & Deletion
Customer data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain operational integrity, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Upon valid request and where technically feasible, KeywordNode may delete or anonymize customer-associated personal data in accordance with applicable laws and operational requirements.
Audit & Compliance Assistance
Customers may request reasonable information regarding KeywordNode’s security and privacy practices where required for compliance or regulatory review purposes.
